Santa on The Strand

Santa Claus will make a special appearance in historic downtown Galveston as part of Santa on The Strand from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 and Dec. 19 at Saengerfest Park, 23rd and Strand. Children can visit with Santa and take pictures in front of the park's Christmas Tree. The Nesquick Bunny will also visit with children, courtesy of Nestle Toll House Café.

In case of inclement weather, Santa on The Strand will be moved to the lobby of Old Galveston Square, 2211 Strand. Shopping in historic downtown Galveston offers a charming alternative to crowded mall shopping during this busy holiday season.
