2008 Goals:

  • Evaluate and develop guidelines/speakers for Luncheons.
  • Develop program with the CVB for VIP cards and the shoppers guide and map.
  • Evaluate appropriateness/Financial viability of each event and recommend any possible. changes to the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor Events (Chairman, Timelines, Organization and Budgets)
  • Assist with Chairman appointments of each Event.

Committee Mission:
The PROMOTION COMMITTEE shall plan a comprehensive marketing program to create a positive image for downtown that encourages consumers to visit, live, work, shop and play in the downtown through marketing campaigns, advertising, retail promotional activity and events. The committee shall create an annual schedule of activities; including, but not limited to collaborations with other agencies marketing the Historic Downtown, and special events designed to increase customer traffic throughout the downtown and/or raise funds on behalf of the Partnership.
