A day of family fun and recreation for the bicycling community of Galveston, the bicycle day will include a bicycle show and contests, safety demonstrations, booths and vendors, and a bicycle parade for all ages.

Schedule of Events:
9:00-10:00 Booth/Vendor Set-up

10:00-12:00 Bicycle Registration/Check-in

12:00-2:00 Bicycle Show, Judging, Live Music and Bicycle Safety Demonstrations

2:30-3:00 Distribution of Ribbons/Announcement of Awards

3:00-4:00 Bicycle Parade/End of Festival

To participate you must register and bring your bike to the show.

Contest categories include:
Best Antique/Classic
Best Custom
Best Decorated/Art
Best Muscle/Low rider and MORE!

Prizes will be given the day of the show and KIDS 12 and under will all receive a RIBBON for decorating their bikes!
Early registration is encouraged and will be available with T.F. Hippie's, Island Cycle Repair, Island Bicycle Company, and Mod Coffee House. All participants registering early get an Official Bicycle Day T-shirt for $5.00 (T-Shirts will be $10.00 the day of event and will be limited). Registration will continue the morning of the event and participation is FREE and open to the public.

Support our EMS Bike Team!
A donation to The Galveston County Health Department EMS Bike Team is encouraged to provide bike helmets for kids in need. In 2007 we raised $100 for the EMS Team!
