Committee Mission:
The BUSINESS, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS COMMITTEE shall plan and implement projects to strengthen the business conditions of Historic Downtown while expanding and diversifying its economic base, including but not limited to the recruitment of compatible new businesses and economic uses of unused or under-used space, the support of existing businesses and the development of financial incentives, educational workshops and data and materials of use to the membership.

Downtown Forum

The Business, Economic Development and Governmental Relations Committee will host a moderated forum for the candidates registered in the District 1 City Council race. The Partnership provides these forums as a service to its members and does not endorse any particular candidate. Special effort is made to give equal opportunity to all candidates to participate in the forum.

The Downtown Forum is FREE and open to the public.

All downtown residents and business owners are encouraged to attend.
