Come Join Us For The Fun!
Come Fourth and Participate in Galveston's 4th of July Parade and Celebration in historic downtown Galveston on July 4, 2010!
Decorate your bicycle, tricycle, golf cart, skates, horses, wagons, carriages, floats, or any other favorite mode of transportation and join us in the parade! Strike up the band and march with us! We welcome all organizations, businesses, civic, church and musical groups, individuals and families. Participation in the parade requires pre-registration is free and fun for the entire family!
The parade begins at 10am at Santa Fe Place and 25th Street, winds its way through historic downtown Galveston, followed by a patriotic celebration at the Galveston Island Railroad Museum. The Celebration will include patriotic music provided by Sparky Koerner and refreshments provided by the organizers.
Organizers of the July Fourth celebration include the Galveston County Marine Corps League, Detachment #668, Galveston Lion's Club, the Sons of the American Revolution Bernardo Galvez Chapter, Galveston College, the Historic Downtown Strand Seaport Partnership, the Galveston Island Railroad Museum, and the City of Galveston.
